I’m not sure if everyone knows Andy Jenkins and what he has accomplished in the Internet Marekting world.
If you are not familiar with him, you should be. He is an amazing video advertiser and is working on a new membership to teach the craft of making, editing and using videos to market with.
Now, this membership I’m quite sure will be rather expensive, but if I can possibly manage it I will be signing up.
I’ve always wanted to be good at producing high quality videos. I don’t think it is my creativity that has limited my efforts but rather the techy side of it. It is even more complicated than computers and you all know how bad I am at that so if I ever have any hope of learning this valuable skill, I believe Andy will be the guy to teach it.
To show you the difference and to hopefully get you excited as I am about this, I want you to watch the video below that I created for the magic of making up and then click over to Andy’s site and see how much better his videos are than mine.
To be fair to myself, Andy did go to NYU film school so don’t be to harsh on me.
Oh, and I plan to teach you all what I learn in this course so make sure to stay tuned and if you are not a college member I urge you to become one. Okay, check out my video for the magic of making up:
Make sure your volume is all the way up!
Okay, not bad for 30 minutes worth of work… most of that time was spent trying to find the right music.
Now, go check out Andy’s videos (you will actually learn a lot as well as get mega motivated) and let me know if this type of thing is something you want to learn. Video Tutorials
Wasn’t that amazing? I am going to get in if I can but you don’t have to, I plan on teaching what I learn in the college and of course share lots of lessons to those on my lists for free as well. If there is an interest, please leave a comment and let me know. Also, let me know what you thought about my video.

The truth of the matter with video marketing is there is no wrong way o do it. Simply just make a video and post it.You can’t go wrong with video marketing and chances are your video will be seen. Make a video, make some more and next thing you know you have people subscribing to your videos and it took you very little effort to setup

Huh, I can only wish to make a video as good as the one you’ve shown here Dave… so why would you even think to compare your skills with those of Andy Jenkins… whom you say “went to NYU film school so he really knows his stuff.”?

That was pretty good David! I worked on a video in Camtasia for about 4 hours and still was not real satisfied with the outcome. Fact is video marketing is going to continue to grow. It is a very good skill to have so take good notes for us!!!

This video is better than a lot I’ve seen. The music is the best part – I was literally laughing out loud (even if that wasn’t the intended effect you were going for).
I look forward to whatever insight you provide in the college about video. I’ve been getting a lot of solicitations for Andy’s course, and yes, I know who Andy is and that it will be good, but I’m not quite ready to do video yet (soon, but not yet), and I’m sticking to my plan to not buy something if I’m not going to use it right away. By the time I’m ready, I’m sure you’ll have enough info to get me started on the right foot.

Hi David..
Nice video I like the empty closet effect…. happened to me I came home with all the curtains off the windows etc…. brutal.
I have known Andy Jenkins since the first Stomper DVDs he did with Brad Fallon… there are very few people on the net I will trust he is one …and…wait for it… YOU
I’m on his list so viewed his videos already but I know they are going to be $$$$$$$$ so if you are going to pass on the info to your members that is awesome …. we are not worthy…we are not worthy.
I am going to get started on videos ASAP…because I can see the power….
thanks for all your help…

Yes, please purchase the course and pass along the essentials. That would be of great help and very generous. Your video was pretty good – dramatic.
Appreciate what you’re doing so far.
BTW, I stumbled upon this blog – saltydroid.
Man, that behind the scenes look at Stompernet and Fallon/Jenkins is wild. Even has the lawsuit pdf’s. Definitely give you some perspective, even if a bit over the the top.

Yes, I am very familiar with the Stompernet mess and having met Andy I would have to think that his partner was the bigger jerk. And, as jerks so often do, they can influence others around them to do things they might not otherwise do. I know Andy is an incredable video producer and I trust that his product will be good and that I will actually get the product and benefit greatly from it. His main problems stem from non payment to lesser known affiliates for his stompernet sales but since I’m not one I don’t really need to worry about it and still wanted to share this with you all. If any of you saw my “crush the syndicate” video you know how I feel about most of the top level gurus.

Your video was fantastic. I love the music. The empty clothes hangers were a nice touch. It totally had your attention and had you waiting for the next scene. I am kind of reluctant about speaking on video or showing me face -hee,hee, it’s not that bad — but this is a great example how good it can be without that, so I would have nothing to hold me back with your expert lessons.

Hey David,
Just watched the above videos. Yours was not bad at all. I think the ending could have been shot a little differently, but all in all I would rate it an A- or a B+.
Andys videos were very eye catching and kept me glued to the end of all three. But then he’s been at it since 1992.
It would be very much appreciated if you were to get and follow his course and then relay all the info to us. You are the MAN.

David…this is great. One of the hardest things we have to do is accept our greatness where we are in the process. No, you’re not Andy Jenkins… you are you… and for that your loyal followers are grateful and think you are da bomb!
Your video had my husband transfixed… he heard the music and said “What’s that?” He thought I was watching a movie
Thanks for all you do!

It appears to me that any video presented is preferable to none at all. However, though yours would attract attention, one by Andy would be more profound.
What is impressive to me (I am a new member) is your willingness to expand upon your expertise at an out of pocket expense to yourself and pass on the end result to us.
Thank you.

Hi David,
There can’t be much doubt left in anyone’s mind that video is the upcoming phase of internet marketing and I for one am grateful to you for highlighting Andy’s new course. Really powerful product.
I think the quality of your first video is great (not too sure about the music though) – and now I can’t wait to hear more about your proposal to pass on the “how to” of video-making. Great stuff!

Hi David,
hey, you’re video is pretty good, so don’t hide your light under a bushel.
That’s great news that you’re getting Andys course and that you want to teach us his stuff. I know it will be too expensive for me at the time and if I wasn’t a college member already this alone would be reason enough for me to join.
(side note: I’ve lost my access data and can’t log in. I’ve addressed you on this through mail before, but somehow it doesn’t seem to get through. Hopefully you will read this.)
Thanks.

great job for 30 minute. you already know stuff you can teach us. but i’ve been watching Andy’s videos and it would be great to have that data through you.
One question I had on Andy’s stuff, he showed how you backlinked to the youtube video. Do you know if the video is on mini-site or can it be, or does the customer have to watch the youtube video, then click the link next to it to go where you want to send them?

Sorry to keep posting, but to answer Pauls question. You can have the actual you tube, viddler, vimeo, or what ever video on your site. Actually it is better to use Youtube because of the SEO rankings but check out (tubemogul.com). I recently was testing vimeo because I liked the clarity of the video better. The main thing is to use tube mogul to distribute your video for you to all the video sites, plus they will give you the tools to see which video and which sites are performing better. They will do that for free but they have more bells and whistles that are for a fee. If you use YouTube, the main thing to remember is to not allow other videos from you tube to pop up on your site after your video is finished. Not only will it take them away from your message but there can be other potential problems. You know how the little thumb nail videos that pop up below on Youtube videos, they are from related key words. There is a place that you can check to disallow that function. I have Kind of a funny story. I had a site once that I was advertising and I had a potential client email me and ask me what were the videos under mine. They kind of described what they saw. Some lady undressing on the video. They asked if they were part of my site. Of course they were not a part of what I was promoting. Come to find out it was a video showing some chick take off her clothes. Because my last name is BREEDLOVE (yes its my real last name) it triggered some skin flicks. So watch out!
I have a site that I just started building recently about using video to market with online. It is still in the works and very rough. I know a few things because of trial and error and have had some success but nothing like Andy, he’s the boss. Here is my site if you care to look. http://www.popsezvideo.com

This is great. It shows that you don’t have to be Andy Jenkins to get something out there and it’s all about getting something out there.
I’m getting really excited about doing video. I think it’s going to be a quick and easy way to produce some great content.
If you have video on your site and visitors stay to watch, it lowers your bounce rate and let’s Google know that you are providing value.
It’s a winner all around. Sounds like there could be some great content in the college in the future. Worth hanging in there.
Thanks David.

Really cool David!
I am hoping to learn how to do that.
I think the hardest thing for me will be how to upload it to a website and distribute it for the traffic – That stuffs really confuses me.
Yes, the Video Boss looks really great, but I just know the hype will lead to a price tag I certainly cannot afford.
Thanks again for sharing.
Hope you get lots of sales from your video.

Thanks.
